ACS fish fry
Every year, the Atmore Christian School fish fry seems more well attended. Held Friday evening, April 11, the event was organized a little differently this year in order to better accommodate two lines – one for dine-in and one for take-out. Needless to say, this undertaking requires many volunteers. While many folks got plates to go, some folks stayed to have dinner and visit.
Catching the big ones
Nobody needed to tell a tall fishing tale Saturday, April 12, at Steve’s Farm Fishing Tournament. The three shown here caught the biggest fish of the day. Winners are, from left, first place, Ryan Stephens, 25.8 lbs., $600 prize money; second place, Scott Stabler, 24.35 lbs., $250 prize money; third place, Emily Phillips, 24.15 lbs., $150 prize money.
