Search warrant on Blackwell Lane
The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at a mobile home at 362 Blackwell Lane early Wednesday afternoon. Blackwell Lane is off Kaiser Farm Road, off Ewing Farm Road. Chief Deputy Mike Lambert said the target of the search – Gilbert Wade Blackwell, 28 – was not at the residence at the time of the search. Blackwell was arrested about a month ago but had bonded out. Giving a kidney
Sonya Thomas is the big sister. She’s supposed to take care of her younger sister, Nelda Dukes. At least, that’s how Sonya feels. But things are a little upside down right now.
