Fountain CF inmate fatally stabbed
Locke News Staff Report Alabama Department of Corrections officials confirmed Friday, March 27, that a Fountain Correctional Facility inmate from Monroe County has died as a result of being stabbed by another inmate in a recent altercation. Atmore Fire Department Capt. Daniel Love uses a pike pole to yank sheets of aluminum from the flames of a Nokomis home that was destroyed by a March 27 fire. Nokomis volunteer firefighters were dispatched at 10:12 p.m. to the Katelyn Lane home, which was being remodeled and was unoccupied. NVFD Capt.
