Feeding the kids

Free meals for children 18 years of age and under and continuing during school closure

Children 18 years of age and younger during the school closure can receive meals at the locations listed below, hosted by the Escambia County Alabama schools. Children do not have to be enrolled in the Escambia County schools.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided to take home. No identification or proof of school enrollment is required, but the child must be present. Families will not need to enter the school building for pick-up. Families will be able to drive through to pick up meals.
Children will receive 2 breakfasts and 2 lunches Monday and Wednesday, and 1 breakfast and 1 lunch Friday. Hours are 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Pick-up locations are as follows:

  • Escambia County Middle School, 1564 Highway 21, Atmore
  • Flomaton Elementary School, 1634 Poplar Street. Flomaton
  • W.S. Neal High School, 801 Andrew Jackson Street, East Brewton
