For many area residents, lighting a candle is a tradition during the holidays. Each year, the staffs of Johnson Quimby Funeral Home and Atmore Memorial Chapel hold a Candlelight Memorial Service during which the public is invited to come by Johnson Quimby and light a candle in memory of someone who passed away this year or in a previous year. Santa joins kindergarten students for breakfast

ECMS participates in Toys for Tots
Escambia County Middle Peer Helpers sponsored Toys for Tots drive from November 12 to December 13. All homerooms were encouraged to participate. The homeroom with the most donations was rewarded a pizza party sponsored by Pastor Darryl North, Toys for Tots District Coordinator.
