ECMS holds parent-teacher conferences
Escambia County Middle School held its annual Spring Parent / Teacher Conferences on March 16. An important goal of the conference is to develop new strategies to support student learning at school and at home. Teachers discussed the academic progress of their students by using examples of student work and assessments during conferences. Building robots at ECMS
The after school Project A-STEM at Escambia County Middle School is in full swing with students engaged in engineering designs for volcanos and walking robots. A-STEM is the after-school enrichment program focusing on science, technology, engineering, math and the arts at ECMS – changing lives one activity at a time. ECMS teacher arrested after pot found in classroom
An Escambia County Middle School teacher was arrested Friday morning (Feb. 24) after she was found to be in possession of an undisclosed quantity of marijuana inside her classroom. According to a press release from the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were sent to ECMS after the principal reported that there was a strong odor of what she believed to be marijuana coming from a specific area inside the school.…
ECMS students going to All-State Choral Festival
