Wind Creek Casino Atmore recently presented Nokomis Volunteer Fire Department with a check for $9,329.23 from the casino’s customer ticket redemption program. Nokomis native and tribal member Terry Albritton Breckenridge made the presentation. NVFD Capt. Jerry Gehman said the money would go a long way in providing much-needed safety equipment for the volunteer agency.
