Fixin’ a hole
District 4 City Councilman Shawn Lassiter works Sunday morning (January 16) to patch one of six holes that appeared just in front of the Strand Theatre on South Main Street after Saturday’s downpour. According to Mayor Jim Staff, Lassiter said he received some complaints and knew that city streets and sanitation crews would be off Monday, so he took care of the problem himself.
