Search warrant on Blackwell Lane
The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at a mobile home at 362 Blackwell Lane early Wednesday afternoon. Blackwell Lane is off Kaiser Farm Road, off Ewing Farm Road. Chief Deputy Mike Lambert said the target of the search – Gilbert Wade Blackwell, 28 – was not at the residence at the time of the search. Blackwell was arrested about a month ago but had bonded out. The Monroeville Section Royal Rangers recently held their annual Ranger Kids Field Day at Atmore First Assembly of God Church.
