Benefit set for Caraway
Eugene Caraway was diagnosed just this past Spring with a rare form of leukemia. He went into treatment and the process to find a bone marrow donor was started. His brother Larry was in line to be tested. They were both so hopeful that Larry would be a match. Then Larry died, suddenly, unexpectedly. VFW Auxiliary holding peanut boil, supporting VetDogs
Atmore VFW Auxiliary is hosting a peanut boil Saturday, September 9, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the vacant lot next to the Diamond Shell Station at the corner of Highway 31 and Medical Park Drive.
