Destiny’s senior appreciation day program a success
News Staff Report Destiny Worship Center hosted its 12th annual Senior Citizens Community Appreciation Banquet on November 17 to honor and show appreciation to all senior citizens of our community. The seniors were entertained with musical selections from Joshua Banks Jr., games, cake walk and door prizes. More than 5,000 Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes collected News Staff Report The 2018 Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child final collection was held Monday at Grace Fellowship. Boxes from Goodway, Brewton, Monroeville and Evergreen were brought to Grace to be combined with Atmore boxes for a total of 5,361 shoe boxes from the entire area. News Staff Report City offices were closed Monday, November 12, in observance of Veterans Day.
