More than 5,000 Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes collected

The 2018 Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child final collection was held Monday at Grace Fellowship.
Boxes from Goodway, Brewton, Monroeville and Evergreen were brought to Grace to be combined with Atmore boxes for a total of 5,361 shoe boxes from the entire area. Boxes were placed in large boxes, loaded and sent on their way to Atlanta for processing and distribution.
Additional volunteers arrived at Grace Monday morning to do the heavy lifting:
Jim Hochstetler, Grace Fellowship; Brad Hastings, Escambia County High School; and Northview High School football players and coaches: Matthew Caine, Tyler Cloud, Keegan Johnston, Seth Killam, Joseph Parker, Coach Derek Marshman, Coach Tyler Reeves, Coach Glenn Weber (also Grace associate pastor).
