Rams follow loss to S.L. Jones with romp past Aletheia Christian

Three players hit double point digits as the Rams of Atmore Christian improved their season record to a respectable 5-4 after conquering the Lions of Aletheia Christian Academy 57-38 last Thursday, December 12.
Emmett Battles and Jadon Torres led the Rams in scoring with 13 points each and Caden Battles supplemented with 11 points. Gage Gades added eight points, Reese White scored six, Drew Shelly registered four and Jace Weber scored two.
The much-needed win came after ACS after fell 69-43 to S.L. Jones Christian Academy last Tuesday, December 10.
Torres and Caden Battles led the team in scoring against the Warriors, with both players recording double digits. Torres scored 14 points, with 12 of those coming from three-point shots, and Battles scored 13 points, with six coming on free throws.
Gades and Shelly scored seven points each, and Weber added two points.
The Rams were slated to face Central Christian School in Robertsdale on Tuesday, December 17, their last game before Christmas break.
