Lady Blue Devils knock off Monroe, Baldwin

The Lady Blue Devils of Escambia County High evened their season record at 4-4 after wins over Monroe County and Baldwin County last week.
Last Thursday, December 5, C’Anna Betts led the Lady Devils in scoring with 21 points, five of which came off free throws, as ECHS roughed up MCHS, 41-27.
Jayla Adams registered 13 points, while Makayla Lyons and Timia Gaines scored three points each, and Latressa Knight scored a point on a free throw.
On Saturday, December 7, the ECHS girls edged BCHS 49-47.
Betts led the team in that contest, too, scoring 28 points. Adams scored 16 points, while Gaines added three points and Beyonce McCaster added two.
The Lady Devils will host Mary G. Montgomery High on Thursday, December 19.
