WSD pumpkin contest winners
Even though Williams Station Day was cancelled, the pumpkin decorating contest was judged at the Atmore Public Library. Participants were asked to decorate, not carve, a pumpkin to depict their favorite storybook character. First place went to Evelyn Esparza and Angelica Fernandez for their Cat in the Hat pumpkin. Briauna Matheny took second place with her Elsa pumpkin. Not pictured is Danielle Faircloth, who won third place.
ECMS stands against bullying
Special to Atmore News On Wednesday, October 23, students and staff at ECMS wore orange to send a unified message that students care about each other, and that bullying will not be accepted in the school or community.
