Mentoring program gets under way

Special to Atmore News Escambia County Middle School students in Ms. Hybart’s and Ms. Wilson’s fifth-grade science classes created Shoebox Ecosystems recently. The students demonstrated an understanding of ecosystems. Special to Atmore News Students in Mrs. Coleman’s fourth-grade science class at Perdido Elementary experimented with electricity recently. In this inquiry activity, they tested four different ways to connect a battery, wires, and light bulbs to see which ways worked to complete a circuit.
