Perdido Raiders beat Summerdale Panthers 28-6

Quarterback Coleman Dove had a big game with 1 rushing touchdown and 2 TD passes.

The Perdido Middle School Raiders football team had a strong victory over the Panthers in their September 13 game.
Quarterback Coleman Dove (#1) scored 1 rushing touchdown and threw 2 touchdown passes to receiver Christopher Johnson (#8), one of which was followed up by a 2-point conversion by Dove.
Running back Josh Hyatt (#5) scored a rushing touchdown and followed it up by scoring a 2-point conversion. Middle linebacker Devin Stewart (#52) picked up 6 tackles and forced a fumble which was recovered by defensive end Tyler Whatley (#55). Whatley also picked up 7 tackles.
Wide receiver Will Allen (#18) had several big runs, and a host of Raiders made many key defensive tackles.
The team was led by captains Billy Jackson (center, #58), Coleman Dove, Christopher Johnson, Eli Stidham (defensive end, #60), and Zach Coleman (defensive tackle, #75).
The Raiders head coach is Vincent Coley, and the assistant coaches are Brett Walley and Josh Overstreet.
