Mothershed arrested on SORNA violation
Jamey Lavon Mothershed, 38, a registered sex offender, was arrested November 29 by Escambia County Sheriff’s Office personnel after it was discovered that he had violated Alabama’s residency requirements for such offenders. According to sheriff’s reports, Mothershed was convicted in Florida in 2001 of lewd and lascivious battery on a victim older than 12 but younger than 16.
