Four members of Gamma Omega Chapter of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International attended The Society’s Fall Executive Board Meeting in Montgomery on August 19.
Attending were Trachy Miller, Chapter President; Sissy Phillips; Evelyn Bilbo; and Nancy Karrick, Immediate past Alabama State President. Trachy Miller and Nancy Karrick are on the voting board of the state organization.
In addition to the board meeting, members attended workshops relating to their position in the organization and general interest sessions. Nancy presented a workshop on building teamwork among members in the chapter.
Nancy was also present on August 18, for the Beta State Executive Committee meeting. At the Executive Board meeting, she was recognized for the citation presented to her by the mayor of Atmore and also inducted into the Order of the Camellia, an organization of past state presidents.
Approximately 200 members attended the meeting in Montgomery.
