Atmore police were sent to three locations within the city Sunday night, June 25, in response to reports of gunfire, but were unable to find the person or persons believed to have fired the shots. GECA to present ‘Annie’ – 8 shows scheduled

Local Verizon store not closing
Verizon Communications admits that it will soon cease to operate its Verizon Wireless store in Atmore, but a company spokesperson said that rumors of the local store’s closing are more than a little off-base.
