Atmore gearing up for Alabama Bicentennial
Looking ahead to the state’s bicentennial (ALABAMA 200), a group met Thursday, March 30, to talk about Atmore’s involvement in the three-year celebration. Alabama will officially turn 200 on December 14, 2019, and the state is dedicating three years to special events, projects and initiatives. United Way donates to Perdido E/M School
Perdido Elementary / Middle School principal Phillip Stewart recently received a surprise call from United Way of Baldwin County. Ms. Marina Simpson called to inform him that Perdido School was randomly drawn out of all the elementary, middle and high schools in the county to receive $1,500.
