The Pride of Atmore Committee selected the yard of Chris and Courtney Harrison, 408 S. Main Street, as the August Yard of the Month. The presentation was made Monday, July 31. Luncheon benefits the Strand
The Save the Strand Committee hosted a salad luncheon Monday, July 17, in the Atmore Area YMCA library. Proceeds benefit ongoing repair and renovation of the Strand Theater. Screen in the Strand
United Bank’s Screen on the Green was moved indoors Friday evening, June 2, for the showing of Moana. Originally planned for Heritage Park, the venue was changed to the Strand Theater due to the threat of inclement weather.
