ECHS graduation
The crowd at Escambia County High School’s graduation was a fraction of the normal size as each graduate was given four tickets for family and friends. In the bleachers, those attending sat with their group at a distance from others. Valedictorian Kayley Johnson, wearing her mask, is shown leading seniors to the stadium. Celebrating Bishop Williams’ birthday
Well wishers participated in a drive-by birthday celebration Thursday, May 21, for Bishop Willie L. Williams, founder and pastor of Jones Street True Pentecostal Holiness Church in Atmore. Word has it that Bishop Williams is the oldest active African American pastor in Atmore – age 82 – and the pastor who has filled a pulpit the longest.
