On ‘The Polar Express’
For the seventh year, the dining car at the Derailed Diner was transformed into the train car scene from “The Polar Express” for six nights in December. Atmore native Barbara Turk, the Diner’s marketing director, pulls together a cast (from this area) to make the movie come alive for youngsters, many of whom come in their pajamas.
