Burnout for Bubba
Charlie Brown practices burnouts on the new concrete pad at Lottie Road Kustoms during Bubba Cruz 2, held Saturday, July 20. The annual event is held on the weekend closest to the date of the death of its namesake, Ewing Darrell “Bubba” Ardis. Despite several rainstorms that soaked the area, a “pretty good” crowd, including participants from New Orleans and Kentucky, attended.

New officers installed
Special to Atmore News The Atmore Lions Club met Wednesday, July 17, in the Mayson Auditorium of Atmore Community Hospital. Lion President Bub Gideons called the meeting to order.
