Car, school bus collide
Two Frisco City women — one of whom was later transferred by helicopter to an area trauma center — were seriously injured March 1 when the vehicle in which they were traveling was struck broadside by a loaded school bus. Atmore VFW Auxiliary #7016 is hosting the Fifth Annual Vietnam Veterans Day Saturday, March 31, 4 p.m., in the Atmore YMCA. Scheduled guest speakers include U.S. Congressman Bradley Byrne, VFW State Commander Dennis Doherty, and VFW Auxiliary State President Donna Howell.
