Hall of Fame to induct 7
Seven outstanding citizens will be inducted in the Atmore Area Hall of Fame in April. The 2018 inductees are as follows: Athletics – Willie Parker and Earl Miller Government – Stephanie Bryan and Weldon Vickrey Business – Dale Ash and Bill Farr Medicine – Joan Helton Crawford Beginning in March, Atmore News will feature each inductee. Local reenactors and history fans converged on Wawbeek Saturday February 3, for the fourth annual Wawbeek Living History sponsored by Marietta Johnson, the 15th Confederate Cavalry Company C and the Sons of Confederate Veterans.
