Catherine Tolbert Williams
Mrs. Catherine Tolbert Williams, age 79, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2023, in Millbrook, Ala. She resided most of her life in Atmore, Ala. She worked as a nurse in the healthcare field for many years. She enjoyed going fishing and the outdoors gardening with both flowers and vegetables. She was very creative; loved to paint, especially oil paintings and enjoyed making different things. She loved to travel…. “She was always ready to go”.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy (Pauline Winham) Tolbert; husband, Albert F. Williams; one grandson, Anthony Stroud; eight siblings, William Tolbert, Joe Tolbert, Geraldine Pugh, Larry Tolbert, Imogene Burgess, Diane Tolbert, Otis Tolbert and Harry Tolbert.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her one son, Albert Jason (Jacqueline) Williams of Donaldsonville, La.; two daughter, Judy Williams (Jerry) May of Millbrook; Julia Williams (Tony) Stroud of Summerdale, Ala.; one brother, Roy Lee Tolbert of McCullough, Ala.; two sisters, Mattie Turner and Sue Carol (David) Williams, all of Goodway, Ala.; eight grandchildren, Jeremy (Teresa) May, Jennifer May, Jade (Ben) Salter, Tanner Williams, Caleb Fullurton, Christian Williams, Trinidy Williams, Gracie Williams; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great- grandchildren and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 28, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home, LLC. with Rev. Jerry May officiating. Burial will follow at Poplar Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday, April 28, 2023 from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home, LLC.
Pallbearers will be Ben Salter, Tanner Williams, John Stephens, Adam Tolbert, Jason Williams, Brad Tolbert, and Jordan Tolbert.
Honorary pallbearers will be Christian Williams and Caleb Fullurton.

Hilton W. Peavy
Mr. Hilton W. Peavy, age 76, of Poarch, Ala., passed away Sunday, April 30, 2023 in Pensacola, Fla. He was born in Brewton, Ala. to Price and Alice Taylor Peavy. He served during the Vietnam-Era with the 101st Airborne Division. He lived his life to the fullest with no regrets. He was a retired Army Ranger 1SG and had a career full of accolades and success. Our country lost one of its greatest leaders today. They just don’t make them like him anymore. He also owned and operated Peavy Trucking. He was a beloved father and mentor.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Mae Peavy; his brother, Colas Peavy and his sister, Dorothy Thompson.
Mr. Peavy is survived by his sons, Shannon (Memori) Peavy of McDavid, FL and Darby (Kim) Peavy of Nokomis, Ala.; his daughter, Chastity Peavy of Poarch; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steven Breceda officiating. Interment will follow in New Home Cemetery in Poarch with Military Honors.

Patsy Ann Gulsby
Mrs. Patsy Ann Gulsby, age 85, of Atmore, Ala., passed away Monday, May 1, 2023. She was born in Mexia, Ala. to Willard and Ima Dobbins Smith. She was a member of Presley Street Baptist Church and was a bank teller for United Bank for over twelve years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Gulsby; her daughter, Vicki Lynn Jordan; her son, Leslie E. Gulsby and her grandson, Scotty Jordan.
Mrs. Gulsby is survived by her son, David Gulsby of Atmore; five grandchildren; six great- grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 5, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Joseph T. Simpson officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Patricia Ann Rudolph-Anderson
Patricia Ann Rudolph-Anderson, age54, passed away Monday, April 17, 2023 at Mass General Hospital in Boston, Mass. She was born in Atmore, Ala. to Minnie Rudolph and the late Ernest Rudolph, Sr. She graduated from Woodham High School in Pensacola, Fla. and dedicated 27 years of her life to the XL Center. She loved her friends and family. She lit up any room she entered with her kind eyes and bright smile.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bessie Mae and Mack Montgomery, Lillie Bell and Smith Rudolph; father, Ernest Lee Rudolph, Sr. and brothers, Christopher Rudolph, Sr. and Anthony Rudolph.
She was survived by her four children, Joel (Cierra Martinez) Rudolph and Asanee Anderson, all of Hartford, Tyus Anderson of Bristol, Aaliyah (Jayce) Castleberry of Vernon; mother, Minnie Lee Rudolph of Pensacola; her brothers, Ernest Rudolph, Jr. and D’volis Marquis Rudolph (Chrystalline), her sister, Yutisha Rudolph and Sister-in-law, Akeslia Rudolph; grandchildren, Taina, Brooklyn and two grandchildren entering the world early summer; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 1 p.m. at El Bethel Holiness Church with Apostle Louis Banks, Pastor and Pastor Larry Joseph McGrurder, Eulogist. Interment followed at Stallworth Cemetery.
Pallbearers and flower bearers were family and friends.
