In an item that appeared in the “Felony Arrests” section of the April 23 print edition of Atmore News, the charges against two local men arrested during a drug raid on a 4th Avenue residence were incorrectly stated. According to police reports, Tyson Knight, 23, was actually charged with second-degree (misdemeanor) pot possession, not first-degree (felony) possession as reported. The other man arrested in the raid, 20-year-old Ray Wiggins II, was charged with first-degree pot possession, and both men were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
