Atmore Lions Club member Nancy Karrick received a special award at the Alabama Lions Multi District 34 Statewide Convention held April 18-21 in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Karrick received the Helen Keller Legacy Award in recognition of her continued dedication and commitment in the fight against blindness. Lion Karrick’s name will be displayed on the wall at Callahan Eye Hospital in Birmingham. The award was presented by Past District Governor Barry Elliott, Executive Director (ED) Alabama Lions Sight.
