ECHS open house Escambia County High School open house was held Friday, August 4. Students were invited to come by, get their schedules, meet their teachers, and talk with the school’s new counselor, Pamela Robinson. RPES Meet the Teacher Rachel Patterson Elementary School hosted Meet the Teacher afternoon Monday, August 7. One of the great things about this event is that every student gets to choose a new book to take home and keep. RPES librarian Julie McDonald buys books with proceeds from the book fair and give them to students at least twice a year. The buses are rolling Escambia County Schools Transportation Supervisor Billy Mills was on hand at Rachel Patterson Elementary School’s Meet the Teacher and at other schools to talk to parents about bus routes. Mills encourages everyone to be aware as children get on and off buses.
