Ed and Joyce Brown celebrated their Diamond Wedding Anniversary (60 years) Saturday, February 25.
Their children – Mark, Julie and Jennifer – hosted an anniversary celebration for them at The Club, with Mark serving as emcee.
Long-time family friend Bobby Davis sang two songs – the same two songs he sang at their wedding.
On display were several pictures of the couple through the years – all the way back to prom days in high school. Also on display was a replica of Joyce’s bride’s cake – a three-tier cake with white columns and swans. Sixty years ago, the cake cost $29.64.
About 150 people attended the celebration.
