Escambia County Commissioner Scottie Stewart had his camera ready when CSX’s special engine, a tribute to first responders, rolled through the county last week. The red and white locomotive, which carries the slogan, “Honoring Our First Responders,” on its sides, is appropriately designated by the rail company as Engine 911.
