Pine Barren Baptist Church hosting The Chestang Family Sunday night

The Chestang Family will minister in bluegrass Gospel music at Pine Barren Baptist Church Sunday, November 13, at 6 p.m.
The Chestang Family of McIntosh, Ala., has been playing bluegrass Gospel music since 1996. Their main purpose is to spread the gospel in song and encourage people along the way. Their music has been described as “Gospel music with the Traditional Bluegrass sound.”
The Chestang Family has traveled all over the southeast from Indiana to Florida. They have headlined events and opened for nationally known acts including The Larry Stephenson Band, The Little Roy and Lizzy Show, and Heaven’s Mountain Band. As a member of the Bluegrass Gospel Association, The Chestang Family has also performed at the Bluegrass Gospel Showcase in Nashville for many years.
There is no charge for this concert. A love offering will be taken and CDs will be available. The public is invited to come worship and enjoy fellowship and snacks after the service.
Driving directions From Atmore to Pine Barren Baptist Church – Take Hwy. 21 south, go left (east) on Pine Barren Church Road in Davisville, which terminates at the church OR continue south on Hwy. 21 and take Hwy. 4 left (east) toward Bratt, and watch for church sign on left – go left (north) and arrive at church in one-quarter mile.
