Three incumbents face challengers in the Poarch Tribal Council election set for Saturday, June 4.
The races are as follows:
For the secretary position, incumbent Charlotte McGhee Meckel is challenged by Nioma Jackson Till.
For the treasurer position, incumbent Amy Bryan Gantt is challenged by Chance Jackson and Denise Young.
Dewitt Carter, who holds the at large seat, is facing four challengers – Keith Wayne Colbert, Carla McGhee Hammonds, Douglas “Poncho” Kelley, and Steven Ledkins.
