NHS falls to Gulf Breeze

This past Friday night, September 10, the Northview Chiefs played in Gulf Breeze against the Dolphins. Unfortunately for the Chiefs, Gulf Breeze earned the win; however, the Chiefs still put up a fight.
Northview, a 1A division school, faced 6A Gulf Breeze, and it was definitely an eventful game. To start off, Northview was in the lead by 3 points. However, by the end of the first half, the Dolphins were on top, 21-3.
At the end of the third quarter, the score was Gulf Breeze 29, NHS 11.
Both teams continued to battle in the fourth quarter with the final score Gulf Breeze 50, Northview 33.
NHS Junior Luke Bridges said, “There are definitely things that need improvement, but we are so close to where we need to be.”
Northview’s record stands at 1-2, but fans are hoping that will change this week when the Chiefs host Escambia Academy at home. It’s going to be a great game, a battle against state lines. See y’all there. The game starts at 7.
