Structure total loss
Atmore and Poarch fire and police departments responded to reports of an abandoned structure fire on Union Street in Atmore Tuesday morning (August 31) at 10:15 a.m. When crews arrived, they discovered the structure fully engulfed in flames. The blaze was quickly extinguished but the structure was a total loss. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
