Now that construction has begun on the Strand Theater [Atmore News, August 25, 2021], the Pride of Atmore committee wants to make sure people know about the opportunity to help raise funds and have a physical part of the Strand.
The “Take a Seat” initiative is under way. When the new seats are installed in the Strand, you can have your name or your company’s name, etc. engraved on a plaque to be placed on the back of a seat. You may want a plaque to be In Honor or In Memory of a loved one. The donation for a seat is $500.
As of the end of August, more than 150 seats were still available.
