The Atmore National Day of Prayer will be held this year, although the event will be different than in previous years.
The NDP committee invites all to the local National Day of Prayer observance Thursday, May 6, at noon, in front of Atmore City Hall.
“We will pray for our country, state, county and city,” committee chairwoman Linda Godwin said. “We will also pray for our government, education system, first responders, military, churches, families, media and businesses.”
This year’s theme is “Lord Pour Out Your Love, Life and Liberty.” (2 Corinthians 3:17)
The 2021 event marks 70 years of prayer for America.
