Lions honor Van Pelt
Special to Atmore News The Atmore Lions Club met in the Mayson Auditorium at Atmore Community Hospital on February 19 with 25 members present. Atmore News has learned that the woman identified in last week’s newspaper (Feb. 19 edition) as the wife of 34-year-old Ronald Dewayne Pettway, who allegedly committed aggravated child abuse against the couple’s son, is actually Pettway’s child’s mother, with whom he has been sharing a McRae Street residence in Atmore.
