New parking lot
Construction began recently on the new city parking lot at the corner of Ridgeley and Trammell streets. The lot, which will serve the north end of downtown Atmore, will feature 10-foot spacing to allow more room between the cars parked there. The work is being done by crews from Poarch Band of Creek Indians. No target date has been set for completion of the project.
