Make plans to go to the Atmore Walmart Saturday to help out a good cause and to see some superheroes.
This is the 13th year members of the Atmore Fire Department have done a toy drive. For the fourth year, local firefighters will team up with CAUSEPLAY Gulf Coast – comic book, cartoon and video game heroes – to collect toys for children of local families in need.
It’s easy to help. Just purchase a new toy while you’re in the store. Drop it off on your way out. Be sure to bring your kids so you can take their picture with superheroes.
If you don’t like to shop, donations are accepted and appreciated.
The event starts at 9 p.m.
