Perdido Middle School students win state economics challenges

Perdido Middle School Students keep up their winning reputation as they take top honors in the state for the sixth year in a row in multiple economics challenges.
The students who are in Mrs. Jill Jones Gifted Enrichment classes placed first in The Alabama Economics Challenge, Personal Finance Challenge and Color the Concepts.
Taking first place in the Personal Finance Challenge were Zach Coleman, Luke McIntyre, Maranda Singleton and Jayda Gregson.
The members of the Alabama Economics Challenge winning team were Maranda Singleton, Kam Drinkard, Eli Aaron and Jessica Empson. Jessica Empson was also the winner of the Color the Concepts competition in which students illustrate an economic concept.
