Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce officials cut the ceremonial ribbon March 15 to open the first of four Little Free Libraries to be placed within the city. The initial one is located in the South Main Street alleyway, across from the post office. The take-a-book, leave-a-book structures will provide readers with an alternative to a trip to Atmore Public Library, which is also a partner in the venture.
