Margie Ann Gross
Mrs. Margie Ann Gross, age 78, of Atmore, Ala., passed away Wednesday, August
15, 2018. She was a seamstress with Vanity Fair Mills. She was born in Escambia
County, Ala. to the late John T. and Myrtle Conway McCullough.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George “Buck” Edward
Gross; step-father, Clark Singleton; sister, Margaret Ann Lee; grandchildren,
David Michael Gross and Trevan Patrick Gross.
Mrs. Gross is survived by her son, Larry (Laura) Gross of Bratt, Fla.; one sister, Johnice
Edwina (John) Danner of Montgomery, Ala.; three grandchildren, Haylee
(Zack) Potts, Shelbee McBride, Keaton (Brianna) Gross; two great-grandchildren, Brooke and Carter.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 17, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in McCullough Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Keaton Gross, Sammy Lee, Scott Lee, Mark Peacock, Jim Mauldin, Tanner Norman, Chantz Ziglar, and Colby Norman.
The family will receive friends Friday, August 17, 2018 from 1:30 p.m. until service time at 2:30 p.m.at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.

Catherine Albert McLeod Bray
Mrs. Catherine Albert McLeod Bray, age 85, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2018 in Cantonment, Fla. She was a native of Atmore, Ala., former resident of Orange Beach, Ala. and had resided in Atmore for most of her life. She was a member of the St. Thomas by the Sea Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Katie Albert; one sister, Josephine Albert Ward; four brothers, Tony Albert, Johnny Albert, George Albert and Bug Albert; husband, Derhyl Lee Bray; special friend, Guido Whelehan and son-in-law, Don Dewrell.
Mrs. Bray is survived by one son, Ken (Jerri) McLeod of Cantonment; two daughters, Kay Dewrell of Foley, Ala. and Janet McLeod of Atmore; seven grandchildren; fourteen great- grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Graveside services will be held Friday, August 17, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery with Rev. Father A. Jayaraj officiating.
