EA weightlifters break 3 state records
Escambia Academy’s 35-member weightlifting team captured seven individual state championships, including three lifters who broke state records, while seven others were either runners-up or took third place in the AISA Region 3 Weightlifting Championships, held at Pickens Academy this week. Jam packed PTO meeting at ACM
  The auditorium was full Monday night as parents, grandparents and others gathered for the annual Black History program at A.C. Moore Elementary. Top speller
Four students from across the county competed in a countywide spelling bee Wednesday, February 8. The top speller was Jaelyn Bloodsworth who will compete in the state bee March 11 in Montgomery. PES students visit Shakespeare Theater
Third- through sixth-grade students in Ms. Gerri McDonald’s Project Jubilee and Humanities classes at Perdido Elementary School, took advantage of an exciting opportunity to visit the Shakespeare Theater in Montgomery last week.
