Reviving a community tradition
To the editor: The Canoe Civic Club is pleased to announce it will host Canoe Community Homecoming on November 18, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. This will be a family friendly, community event that will hopefully become an annual tradition. ‘Poppy Month’ proclamation issued – Council OKs resolutions for airport grant, new IDA members
Atmore City Council members approved two resolutions during their October 23 meeting — one in acceptance of the latest in an ongoing series of airport grants, the other to appoint three representatives to a joint industrial authority.
