The Greater Escambia Council for the Arts will hold auditions for Annie Sunday, May 21, at 2 p.m., at the theater on the corner of Trammell and Nashville.
Of course, girls ages 7 and older are needed for the roles of Annie and the other orphans, but GECA Artistic Director Phil Johnson said many roles are open for males and females, ages 7 to senior adult.
Children younger than 7 can be in the show only if a parent is also in it.
If you plan to audition, come prepared to sing. Bring sheet music or an accompaniment CD. Wear comfortable shoes since dancing is part of the audition. You will also read during the audition, but the script will be provided.
