Rewarding perfect attendance at Perdido E/M

Perfect attendance award recipients

Music and excitement were evident at Perdido Elementary / Middle School as students filled the gym to see whose name would be randomly drawn for a $50 prize.

More than 100 students had perfect attendance for the third quarter, in spite of flu and a virus that kept many others out. Every student’s name was placed in the wire raffle-style basket and with music in the background, 12 students’ and three teachers’ names were called. This incentive to improve attendance is a part of the Perdido Incentive Program.

Shown are the students and teachers who were the lucky winners this quarter: teachers – Ms. Jessica White, Ms. Nicole Stabler, and Ms. Gerri McDonald. Mrs. Janie Hall was the support staff recipient. Student winners were Collin Davis, Aspen Gerald, James Brody McGuff, Brycen Stewart, Daniel Parente, Reese White, Hope Bates, Brant McMillian, Jalen Threadgill, Camden Hadley, Ashleigha Smith and Jameson Norris.

Several students and adults were on field trips so are not pictured.
