Kindergarten registration set
Kindergarten registration for the 2017-2018 school year will be held on Wednesday, April 5, at Rachel Patterson Elementary School. Students must be five years of age on or before September 1, 2017. Please bring the following items with you to registration: * Two (2) proofs of residency (examples: driver’s license with matching address for student, utility bill, mail, etc. * Alabama shot record **Additional requested items: birth certificate, Social Security card

ECMS holds parent-teacher conferences
Escambia County Middle School held its annual Spring Parent / Teacher Conferences on March 16. An important goal of the conference is to develop new strategies to support student learning at school and at home. Teachers discussed the academic progress of their students by using examples of student work and assessments during conferences. Rotary offering two scholarships
The Atmore Rotary Club may award two scholarships up to $2,000 per scholarship to two 2017 high school graduates with a 2.5 or higher GPA who enroll as a full-time student in a college program for the 2017–2018 academic year (fall and spring semesters). The scholarships are awarded on the basis of both merit and need.
